With some things happening during the year my cosplay plans have slowed a bit. But that's okay! I'll post what I can when I can~ Thanks for hanging around! You're all awesome~

Anime Oasis Compile 2014

First off, great convention yet again. I always enjoy myself going to this one. I love the atmosphere and the layout is amazing. I mean....main events in an arena? HECK YEAH!
But anyways. Started off the convention on Friday as Casual Clothes Ririchiyo from InuXBokuSS then later changed into Default Miku (cosplay belongs to Airedail so nice of her) Mostly just walked around and sewed like a mad woman in the hotel room.
Saturday - Cosplay Challenge Day! Finished the vest and scarf for Sebastian and two of Ciel's bows 1 hour prior to judging. Yup. That's how I roll. We hung out in the arena during sign-ups and messed around with our little stage set trying to get it to work. Which it did, so yay~
Long line and waiting and judging later....we performed. WOOOOOOOO!
Best part. I won 1st place Novice Craftsmanship with $50. (awwwyis) And together Airedail and I won BEST IN SHOW and $600! Plus an awesome trophy that now lives in my room because reasons. XD I'm so grateful to have her as my cosplay partner in crime. I love how we work together and all that fun jazz.
Celebratory dinner at Applebee's. We go out to eat at least once every convention but this one we were able to get steak. MMMMMMHMMMM Steak. So good.
Sunday was just walking around in Roxas then later in Annie from AoT. Then....because I can. Military Police Roxas. I know. Crossover. BUT WHO CARES?! It was awesome you know it.
Monday. More Roxas for the sake of a photographer who wanted to shoot. That was fun. I got to dual-wield another cosplayers weapons for it. Shweeeeeet.
Then long drive home. I know that's the Reader's Digest version but you get the idea.
Also, Senpai gave me two Kingdom Hearts decals for my car~ WOO! Speaking of....I'll go put those on right now.
Also. Prints! INterested? Let me know what costume and photo and I"ll see what I can do!

SUPERNATURAL VEGAS CON 2014

Supernatural Vegas Con update~
So, I just got back from SPN Vegas Con. Let's say it was a very different experience than what I'm used to, having attended mostly just anime conventions. The crowd was different, the atmosphere. It was one of the most amazing conventions that I have ever been to.
The first day I was surprised to find the registration line was nearly non-existent. It was quite easy for us to get registered and then up into our hotel room to change. I cosplayed as Lilith when she was in the blonde little girl's body, after having just killed the family dog. Airedal as Eve (the mother of monsters) then Tipsy as Dean, Zac as Sam, and Landon as Castiel.
We went into the opening ceremony of the day and found some seats near the side. A band, headed by Rob Benedict, was playing as part of the entertainment and our group started dancing like we do. Richard Speight Jr. (who was hosting) noticed our dancing and pointed us out then came over and danced in the middle of us. That was so amazing!! Later on both Rich and Rob pointed us out again. It was pretty awesome.
Then, several times while traveling back and forth from our room to the convention we managed to see Osric Chau (Kevin Tran) Ty Olsson (Benny) Chad Lindberg (Ash). During panels we were able to listen to Jared, Jensen, Misha, Rob, Richard, Matt, D.J., Felica, as well as a few others.
Our Sam, Dean, and Castiel were asked by Osric to cold read with them on stage during his panel. Airedail and I were freaking out in the audience. Gah so cooool. Later on we were able to speak personally with Osric explaining bronies to him of all things. Haha. And a bit about World Cosplay Summit (he's a cosplayer btw)
Photos happened with Jared, Jensen, and Misha. As well as with Osric, Who is an absolute sweetheart, btw. Squeeeeeeeeeee.
Also! While waiting in line for the photoshoot, Crowley popped in for a bit and we kinda...freaked out. XD
Ah what a good convention. Lots of pictures were taken of us as well as a bit of video here and there. So hopefully we'll be finding things popping up soon.

Let's start the year off!

Hey there everyone! Things have finally turned around a bit for me. I'm happier, which is amazing all on it's own. I also now work fulltime which gives me more money so that I don't have to struggle so much with my finances. I sold the car and rewarded myself with a new tv and blueray player as well as a few little things here and there.
Today, I fueled my nerd pride by purchasing some fun merchandise to wear. Ah....and yes, some tea. That'll be great for when I'm stressed out.
Also! Progress has begun on the first cosplays of 2014. I'm doing three characters from Attack on Titan so far. Annie, Mikasa (both young and recon corps), and ....badadadaaaaaa Levi Hecho. o.o I know. I'm short, so it's awesome. XD
I also plan to make a few costumes from Frozen, namely Elsa's ice dress(like the rest of the world, lemme alone) and Anna's green dress.
I want it improve my Rose Tyler cosplay and make my female!Jack Harkness to go along with the lovely 
as the Tenth Doctor. That'll be great fun!
Let's see....ah yes. I hope to work on Vivaldi (Heart no Kuni no Alice) as well as Katelyn from League of Legends.

I wish I was a good enough cosplayer that people would buy prints. That'd be awesome. But I'm not, and they don't. Which is fine. Guess that just means I have to improve, right?
